Hello Beauties! Lately in my blog I have been talking about wearing less makeup during the summer and also using BB Creams rather then foundations. This past month I have been testing out three BB Creams; Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream, Physicians Formula Super BB #InstaReady BB Cream SPF 30, and Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream Skin Perfector SPF 30. Lets go ahead and review them!
The first BB Cream I tried out is Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream. I picked out the shade light/medium and it was a perfect match for my skin. I was surprised that Covergirl’s BB Cream gave me a medium coverage and blends smoothly on my face. This BB Cream did an amazing job covering my blemishes and evened out my skin tone, it left a beautiful natural matte finish. I honestly completely fell in love with Covergirl’s BB Cream and I can see myself using it all summer long. The only down fall is that it does not have any SPF in it, if it did this would literally be the perfect BB Cream.
Next I tested out Physicians Formula Super BB #InstaReady BB Cream SPF 30 in the shade light/medium. Physicians Formula BB Cream started off lighter then my natural skin tone but the cream did oxidize. I usually hate when products oxidizes but since it was already light to begin with, the BB Cream did not get too much darker then my natural skin tone. Physicians Formula also gave me a medium coverage on my face while evening out my skin. The most impressing thing about this BB Cream is the beautiful natural glow it left my skin! Although I have oily skin I was surprised how well the BB Cream controlled my oils while leaving me with a inner looking glow!
Out of the three BB Creams my least favorite was Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream Skin Perfector SPF 30. Revlon’s BB Cream evened out my skin tone with a light natural coverage and left my skin with a dewy finish. I was not comfortable with the way my skin felt after finishing my makeup. My face felt sticky even though I had set it with powder and used a setting spray. It did not last well through out the day, I have oily skin and after a few hours I was a grease ball and my face was melting away. I usually do not go for foundations with a dewey finish because of my skin type, so I assume this BB Cream might be targeted for dry skin.
What is your favorite BB Cream for the summer!? If you found this post useful or entertaining please give it a like and do not forget to follow my blog for future posts! Bye-bye!
